Stockholm. On the Move.

November 19, 2012

Stockholm's Färgfabriken is one of the city's more directional exhibition spaces; with shows and installations often examining topics affecting its surroundings. This Winter Färgfabriken (its name taken from its previous incarnation as one of paint company, Alcro Beckers' old factories) looks to infrastructure in Stockholm in a show called, Stockholm On the Move.

As a city, Stockholm is growing fast, with new suburbs and micro-housing solutions on the rise. Färgfabriken has joined forces with the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) to curate a dynamic exhibition taking in all aspects of the city's growth and potential impacts.
The long-running show will house an installation along with regular seminars, talks and debates in an attempt to inform inhabitants of the goings on.
The opening evening is the 22nd of November with the show running until March 2013.
