The (Swedish) National Theatre

April 17, 2013

Noted in one British paper as being something akin to a 'traditional Swedish summerhouse', London's National Theatre will be spending the summer months this year in a new 'Shed' by Haworth Tompkins.
The theatre's go-to Dorfman space, is undergoing some refurbishment so the troupe will perform some shows in this temporary structure just outside the main building.
We're all for red-painted buildings and structures here at SwedishDesign.org and hope the National' has a wonderful, long summer period in its taut new space.
